After raising a whopping $90,000 on Kickstarter last year, sisters Bea and Leah Koch are set to open the very first romance-only bookstore in the country. Cleverly named The Ripped Bodice, the colorful store is located in Culver City on Main Street and features a wide selection of literature in the under-appreciated turned wildly popular genre.
Check out store hours below, and be sure to stop by the grand opening celebration tomorrow from 6pm to 8pm. There's also going to be an author signing on Saturday, March 5th from 4 to 6pm that will feature appearances by Francesca Lia Block, Tessa Dare, and Rebekah Weatherspoon.
The Ripped Bodice is open Monday from 10am to 7pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am to 8pm, and Sunday from 10am to 7pm. Closed Wednesdays.
