If Coachella is just your warm-up to LA's inevitably scorching summer, here's yet another sweat spot to add to your workout playlist. Enter Speir Pilates, which fittingly debuted its unique reformer classes on Leap Day.
Located on 7th Street in Santa Monica, the fitness studio offers three heart-pumping Pilates classes: the Power Reformer, 50 minutes of classic sculpting and toning; the Cardio Reformer, which throws in plyometrics for max muscle building and calorie burning; and the Reformer Barre Burn, an ab- and arm-sculpting class that combines weights, mat work, and more props. The sched will soon include prenatal workouts, and we also hear that there's a secret class on Sundays called Fit Fight Club. (Interesting.)
In addition, fashionable fitness gear e-shop Carbon38 is holding court in the studio's retail space, where it'll offer workout merch selected by studio founder Andrea Speir starting April 15th.
Single classes are $38 ($25 for first-timers) and monthly unlimited classes are $259 ($180 for first month and $229 for three-month contracts). See more pricing here and sched your next sesh online here and on ClassPass.
