This Month's Historic Core Shopwalk Will Feature a DTLA-Inspired Fashion Show

Shopwalk DTLA

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

If you have yet to experience the magic that is DTLA's Shopwalk, take a trip east this Sunday, March 6th. Starting at 11am, the beloved block party is teaming up with more than 60 local businesses to offer exciting deals and rewards all across the neighborhood. This time around, the event will also feature a fashion show inside the Spring Arcade's pop-up marketplace.

In partnership with Ximena Valero Fashion Lab and LA Trade Tech, the show will start at 1pm and will celebrate. The show will celebrate "the diverse street style and fashion of Downtown Los Angeles and highlight local boutiques and brands by creating live OOTDs [or outfits-of-the-days]," the organization tells us.

Participating brands will include PS Kaufman, House of Vintage, Jessica Faulkner, Ximena Valero, and Two Rows Vintage. Hit up the event page here for more.
