Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you've recently wandered into Venice's trendy breakfast spot Gjusta, you may have noticed it's not just the delicious baked goods here that are lust-worthy. That staff have been donning cool, lightweight workman-style jackets designed by go-to denim brand Citizens of Humanity.
For those of you who have found themselves considering asking for an application just to score one of these chic uniforms, we might have an alternate solution. Now you can order the jackets through online retailer The Dreslyn. An alternate perk: when you purchase the $230 garment (available in the above washed out blue shade or classic white), 20% of the cost will be donated to the Gjelina Volunteer Program, which aids Venice's pubic school program by educating the kids on gardening, sustainability, and healthy eating. We didn't even need an excuse to add this jacket to our wardrobe, but helping the GVP is a damn good one.
