BRENTWOOD—Super trendy Brentwood athleisure shop Sweat NSK (11731 Barrington Court) plays host to a Valentine's Day trunk show this Wednesday from 10am-2pm. In addition to shopping their brilliant selection of coveted yoga and loungewear labels (Garbe Luxe, Hadid-favorite LNA, Onzie, Groceries, and Chaser, just to name a few), you'll be treated to an aerial fitness demo by Studio K Training, a special trunk show featuring Hiji Designs Jewelry by Jill Berman and Hillary Rosen, plus complimentary snacks, treats, and sips (not to mention two hours of free valet parking).
FAIRFAX—Comedian, author, and YouTube sensation Grace Helbig (it'sGrace has 1.7 million subscribers, which is whoa) will be holding court at Barnes & Noble in The Grove (189 The Grove Drive) this Thursday at 7pm to launch her tongue-in-cheek style guide, Grace & Style: The Art of Pretending You Have It. Helbig describes the book as one part parody, one part irreverent fashion fun, and one part personal experience, noting that the project began as a look at her own silly yet practical approach to style. The book has already gained praise from #girlboss Sophia Amoruso, so definitely add this event to your calendar.
