LA's Garrett Leight and Clare V. Design the Holy Grail of Cat-Eye Sunglasses

If you've been on a perpetual hunt for the perfect pair of cat-eye frames and just can't get down with the many outdated and oversized options out there, the wait is over. Two cult-favorite LA designers—California-cool eyewear star Garrett Leight and French New Wave-inspired accessories hero Clare Vivier—have joined forces to produce the only cat-eyes you'll ever need in life.

In addition to being the ideal, face-flattering size and offering a modern take on a retro classic, the Garrett Leight California Optical x Clare V. sunnies include a green flat base lens and come in three great hues: ébène, matte tortue, and sable. French and American film icons like Françoise Hardy and Jean Seberg influenced the design, giving them instant It girl cred.

Locals can shop the limited-edition GLCO x CV cat-eye sunglasses ($340) starting next Monday, February 8th at GLCO La Brea (165 S La Brea Avenue) and A Kinney Court (1423 Abbot Kinney Blvd), and Clare V. locations. The style is also available for pre-order on GarrettLeight.com and ClareV.com now.
