Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

MALIBU—Celeb-favorite shopping spot Curve at the Malibu Country Mart (3835 Cross Creek Road) is hosting an exclusive launch party for charitable LA fashion brand, n:Philanthropy. Get a first look at the spring 2016 collection while sipping on champagne and stashing cupcakes in your bag. n:Philanthropy owner Yvonne Niami is devoted to giving back, and a whopping 10% of the brand's proceeds directly benefit pediatric cancer research and animal welfare. The collection is available for purchase, so bring your credit card and stop by on Saturday from 2-5pm.

IRVINE—Head over to the Spectrum Center (670 Spectrum Center Drive) to catch the mobile Hello Kitty Cafe, serving up new goodies including a super cute macaron box set with a surprise Sanrio character cookie inside (perfect for Galentine's Day), a new Hello Kitty Cafe mug and t-shirts, and the regular lineup of adorable doughnuts and mini cakes. Get your sugar high on Saturday from 10am-8pm.

BEVERLY GROVE—Join Pretty Little Liars star Janel Parrish and actor Harry Shum, Jr. as they place the very first wishes on the wishing tree in celebration of the Lunar New Year at the Beverly Center (8500 Beverly Boulevard). Take a break from shopping the latest wares at YSL and Gucci (gotta love the Bev Center) and wander up to the 6th floor center court to join in the festivities tomorrow at 5pm, where you'll also find promotions and giveaways, and special gift cards available with proof of purchase.
