If Naomi Watts's ageless bod (and blissed out glow) is any indication that NYC faved fitness phenom The Class is legit—consider us down. And now we longer have to wait, as the mentally-releasing, muscle-toning workout will be offered in a few Los Angeles studios starting this weekend.
Originally conceived by fashion vet Taryn Toomey (who also teaches in New York's studios), the cathartic class—said to make Watts weep—is a 75-minute session that will have attendees physically challenged with sweat-inducing cardio to a fast-paced playlist and the movements are specifically designed to shake up muscle stagnation.
The Class's LA launch begins Saturday with an 11:30am-12:45pm session at Venice's Rama Institute and in addition to having Toomey as a teacher to intro Angeleans to her method, Moon Juice will be on hand to provide refreshments. Sunday from 9am-10:15am try the workout at MNR Dance Factory in Brentwood and enjoy Sakara Life snacks. The rest of the inaugural week, which includes visits from Bullet Proof Coffee, Beaming, and Juice Served Here can be found on the schedule here, as well as pricing and hours you can expect in the future.
