As mentioned, French fashion house and beauty empire Chanel has invaded Chateau Marmont for three days of complimentary, open-to-the-public pampering. The rock-and-roll inspired "I Love Coco" installation is located inside the notoriously exclusive Bar Marmont; we stopped by to preview the space ahead of today's grand opening.
From the moment you step into the legendary hotel's bar entryway, you're immediately greeting with a gang of ridiculously good-looking male models (genius move on Chanel's part) ready to answer your beck and call (or just hand you free buttons and posters on your way out). Next, you're invited to enjoy an Olive & June mani using your choice of Chanel's 16 Le Vernis nail colors, in addition to the new Le Gel Coat longwear top coat. To complete the primping, head to the "VIP Dressing Room" in the back to try crazy-smooth Rouge Coco Stylo lip shades while scoring tried-and-true celebrity makeup tips. (Don't forget to step into the photo booth to show off the results.)
Next, grab a drink at the "Music Bar," where you can also take the stage to create your own GIF music video. Temporary tattoos are on tap, too, because real ink is just too much of a commitment, right? Explore the space above, and fingers crossed that Chanel finds a way to make this a permanent situation.
