SILVER LAKE—Known for her creative and eclectic aesthetic, BlaNk designer Melissa Simpson's line of one-of-a-kind, custom creations are leaving her private studio and landing at Los Angeles County Store (4333 W Sunset Boulevard) for an exclusive trunk show this Saturday from 12-2pm. You'll find unique studio collection pieces as well as vintage fashions reimagined in Melissa's inimitable style, including garments made from hand-spun and dyed artisanal yarn, hand-dyed feathers, and crocheted chain.
HOLLYWOOD—There's nothing better than a good workout for a great cause, and it's fitting that Pure Barre's (7519 W Sunset Boulevard) heart-pumping class this Saturday at 1:30pm will directly benefit the American Heart Association. Pure Barre's Change of Heart donation class is $20, which includes complimentary drinks and snacks, a goodie bag, a raffle contest, and the first ten people to sign up can score a free class.
