Take a Peek at the Progress of The Bloc's Multi-Million Dollar Macy's Makeover

Just when we thought The Bloc's much-delayed renovation was never, ever going to be completed, Macy's rolls through with a ray of hope. As a follow-up to last November partial revamp unveiling, the department store recently debuted more changes, promising that the $180MM facelift will finally be complete this fall.

Neighborhood blog DTLA Rising toured the new and improved space, revealing upgrades to the Macy's home, beauty, and men's departments. Although the women's and children's sections are still under construction—as is the exterior—the transformed store is most definitely the hero project of The Bloc's current hard hat zone.
