Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
It's time to put those cute, LA brand undies to good use—no, not like that. We're talking about this weekend's Cupid's Undie Run, an annual charity run benefiting The Children's Tumor Foundation.
Spend your Saturday afternoon with a gang of ladies and dudes stripped down to their drawers (undies are encouraged, but not mandatory, FYI), running a mile-ish trek through the streets of DTLA to raise money for the neurofibromatosis-fighting non-profit. Why in your undies, you might ask? As the site explains, "...because people with NF can't cover up their tumors. They can't put clothes on to feel more comfortable, so why should we?" Register here (it'll cost you $55) and join the panty party starting at noon at the iconic Belsco Theater.
