In case you missed it, last year legendary DJ and animal activist Moby opened his very own vegan restaurant in Silver Lake called Little Pine. The charming eatery, whose profits are all donated to various animal welfare groups, features a retail aspect with various curated items (candles, books, etc.) as well as frequent sightings of the bald-headed musician.
Our stylish foodie friends over at How You Glow recently chatted with Moby about all things healthy and glowy, revealing that he's a pretty adorable guy. First, his favorite green smoothie consists of "spinach, kale, bananas, fresh turmeric, fresh ginger, berries, flax, chia, DHA oil, parsley, cashews," which sounds a little complex and a lot delicious. (Moon Juice's Amanda Chantal Bacon would approve, so long as the cashews are "activated.")
Moby also divulges in his skincare routine ("Soap? Water? Maybe some oil if it’s dry") and favorite LA shop ("pretty much any bookstore"). The coolest takeaway was definitely a mic-dropper: the late and great David Bowie once gifted Moby the hat that he wore in his 1976 cult-classic film, The Man Who Fell to Earth.
