Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Biker babes in the know will be heading to the LBC this Saturday, when Babes Ride Out, a girls-only ride/campout in Joshua Tree, releases its first zine with a cool celebration. From 7pm to midnight, Howl will host the RVCA and Skullcandy-sponsored event, which is set to include work of lady photogs featured in the mag, artwork by Alex Matus, tunes by The Black Tibetans, The Two Tens, and DJ Margeaux Agogo, and even a limited edition collection of RVCA X BRO jackets (designed by Matus) that guests can purchase with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Moto F.A.M., an organization that aids injured riders and/or their families.
This event is free and open-to-the-republic, so whether you come cruising in on your moto or go the four-wheel route, bring your fellow bike-loving ladies along and partake in the badass girl vibes, which are bound to be in abundance.
