Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

FAIRFAX—Delightful and teeny-tiny accessories and home decor spot, Pygmy Hippo Shoppe (306 N Stanley Avenue) is playing host to a Valentine's Day party and trunk show featuring the work of fanciful artist, Chris Uphues. Look for his telltale cartoony illustrations and vibrant hues, as Uphues puts up his entire collection at Pygmy on Saturday. Wade through adorable and fun pins, pillows, patches, original paintings, shirts, and one of a kind collectibles, and be sure to snap some cute photo booth pics with your wares. Stop by from 1-5pm and enjoy some delicious treats from Cofax Coffee to keep you going while you shop, and don't miss the chance to Insta a pic of Chris live painting a mural on the side of the building.

WOODLAND HILLS—Love a raging disco but loathe the noise? The Village at Westfield Topanga (6600 Topanga Canyon Boulevard) has the perfect solution with their super-chill, silent disco party, complete with individual wireless headphones and one DJ streaming EDM while another throws it back to the 80's. Repeat: this means a private 80's dance party in your head. The event is free, so take your pals and dress up like Madonna, or take the kiddos and still dress up like Madonna. Head to the front of the escalators near EMC Seafood & Raw Bar on Saturday from 7-10pm to join the fun.

CENTURY CITY—Looking to make sure you're in tip-top shape for V-Day? Sweat it out at upsale workout hotspot, DavidBartonGym in either Century City (1950 Century Park E) or Sawtelle (12100 W Olympic Boulevard) and join the #LookBetterNaked trend with their exclusive class, CRUSH, this Saturday at 2pm. This special 60-minute weight training sesh provides the intense workout you'll want to help you look and feel your best for Sunday's festivities. Nonmembers can snag a guess pass here, and make sure to add "CRUSH" in the comments section. Already joined DBG? You can treat your friends to a workout with a complimentary 3-day pass this weekend.

WEST HOLLYWOOD—If you're in need of an awesome, last-minute idea about what to do tonight, make sure to hit up maverick, cult-favorite T-shirts and vintage shop Filth Mart (1038 N Fairfax Avenue) at 6pm for a shopping and tunes fest. Get yourself a custom leather jacket from luxury bespoke leather goods shop AtelierSavas (typically by appointment only) and take in the acoustic stylings of Jenny O., Dean Lynch, Leslie Stevens, and Gold Star. So rock 'n' roll right now.
