Let's face it: life in LA can be rather unpredictable and packed with surprises. From the weather (80+ degrees in February?!) to last minute lunch meetings across town, we often don't know exactly what our day has in store for us, which makes us constantly on the hunt for wardrobe staples that will give us the maximum mileage and make sense in practically any situation. So when we caught our first glimpse of Mixed Business' Multiway Tie Dress ($150) it was a total hallelujah moment.
Though the Silver Lake shop got its start selling minimalist vintage clothing (think clean lines, earth tones, and natural materials), it now also stocks its own line of super-versatile garments, including this midi-length jersey rayon dress with adjustable tie straps that can be worn a multitude of ways (see a few of them here). In addition to being flattering on a wide variety of body types, the one-size-fits-most dress easily takes you from a beach day (wear it over your biknini with flat sandals, top knot, and sunnies) to a hot dinner date (shake the hair out, switch up the ties, and add some metallic accessories) with goddess vibes the whole day through.
