Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
SoulCycle and Target have much in common: both bring maximum perspiration (Targé at 7pm on a weekday, anyone?) and supreme devotion, which is why their workout wear capsule collection isn't at all surprising. In the spirit of their sweat gear spinoff, the celeb-beloved fitness brand — which just debuted its Culver City studio yesterday — and the big red retailer are bringing free rides to select cities, including in LA.
First, more on the collab: shoppable online as of right now, the four-piece unisex range is comprised of a muscle tank and tee ($29 each) and a hoodie and sweatpants ($49 each), all featuring both brand's circular logos and available sizes XS to XXL (see the pieces below).
As far as those free classes, the pop-up cardio party is landing in LA from Tuesday, February 12th to Thursday, February 14th. Exact locations are TBD and there'll be 40 bikes up for grabs in each sesh; sign-ups for our city go live Friday, February 5th at 12pm PT.
