BEVERLY GROVE—Marc Jacobs' artsy book and accessories boutique Bookmarc (8409 Melrose Place) will host a champagne reception and signing for Kelly Klein's aptly named new text, Photographs by Kelly Klein, this Saturday from 5-7pm. Designer Calvin Klein's former spouse, Kelly started exploring the medium of photography (she was previously an assistant to fashion designers including her ex-husband) over 20 years ago, and though her work has been featured in widely-viewed mags like Harper's Bazaar and Interview, this marks the first publication of exclusively Klein's own images. The book, which includes some social snaps (with famous faces, of course) among her editorial shots and behind-the-scenes views, can be purchased and signed by Klein during the event.
