Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

More deets have emerged on Kinfolk's cool concept shop that was first set to open at the historic Eastern Columbia building in fall 2014. The debut date was pushed to last spring and then put on pauseand we can now confirm that the NYC lifestyle brand's menswear boutique/bar/bike shop has moved to a new Downtown nabe altogether. (Hat tip to a very involved DTLA resident, who sent us word of the relocation.)

Kinfolk tells us that its first LA flagship has relocated to 7th Street in Arts District and is expected to (finally!) debut this year. Docs from a DTLA Neighborhood Council meeting last month reveal that the 5,948-square-foot space (a little over half the size of Kinfolk's original planned shop) will house a store of about 2,000 square feet and an approximately 300-seat resto and coffee bar in the remainder of the space.

It's landing next door to printastic LA label Black Milk's shop and an exact opening date has yet to be nailed down.
