Marc by Marc Jacobs Closes on Melrose

The cross section of Melrose and Orlando has officially become a little less Marc Jacobs-y. This past weekend, the beloved fashion designer's diffusion line, Marc by Marc Jacobs, closed its spacious boutique at 8410 Melrose Avenue. The shop sat between Herve Leger and NARS, and was adjacent to both Marc's mainline store and his Bookmarc book shop.

No word yet on the reason behind this sudden closure; although we're bummed about the news, we can't wait to see which retailers scoops up this very prime space.
