Tappan Collective's Inspiring Art Is Popping Up at Culver City's Platform

Tappan Collective

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Just one day after sharing Platform at Hayden Tract's exciting exterior, we've now just received word that another very cool brand is set to grace the Culver City space. Joining the likes of Carven, Linda Farrow, and Aesop will be Tappan Collective—an online platform for discovering and collecting limited-edition prints and original artwork by emerging talent.

The cult-favorite LA-based company tells us that they're gearing up to host a temporary space within the lifestyle center that will offer three exhibitions. The first of which will be called Spatially Speaking, and it opens to the public on February 11th.

See the exhibition flyer below, and look forward to a show that "will highlight the experiential, mindful, investigative, and interpretive qualities of the five artists' [Heather Day, Cheryl Humphreys, Satsuki Shibuya, Lola Rose Thompson, and Lani Trock] work."
