Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

DOWNTOWN—Pencil in a trip to the 2016 LA Art Show (1201 S Figueroa Street) as a must-do on this week's agenda.  Beginning tomorrow and running through Sunday, you'll find the West Hall of the Convention Center packed with 200,000-square feet of artwork, both modern and historical, from over 120 participating galleries (not to mention major celeb-sightings). General Admission day passes can be found here for $15, but take a moment to peruse all the cool events and VIP ticket options. The Opening Night Premiere Party kicks off the show with hosts Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman, with proceeds going to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

WEST HOLLYWOOD—Mix a killer spin sesh with the launch of the year's hottest electro-pop album and you're definitely going to burn some calories. This Thursday's 9:30am class at SoulCycle in WeHo (8570 Sunset Boulevard), led by superstar trainer Ben B., features ultra addictive beats from St. Lucia's new album, Matter. The band's frontman, Jean-Philip Grobler, is a SoulCycle devotee, and collaborated with the cycling brand on a series of 6 cardio parties. You'll be among the first to hear brand-new tracks and score some SoulCycle swag. There are a few spots left, so reserve yours here.

HISTORIC CORE—Indulge in a little retail therapy while you kick back and enjoy some serious tunes. Perennial style icon and LA-native Kate Nash will headline a DJ set upstairs at the Ace Hotel (929 S Broadway) alongside a BB Dakota pop up this Thursday at 8:30pm. Watch out for an additional DJ set from the band with the absolute coolest name ever, Hot Girls Eating Pizza. There's no ticket fee, but the Ace asks that you RSVP here.
