Introducing Window of the Sky, a Healing One-Stop Shop in Eagle Rock

On the Grid

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Hey, mystic hippies: meet your new favorite hangout. Window of the Sky is an inspiring addition to Eagle Rock, offering by-appointment-only acupuncture and healing treatments, as well as a conscious boutique.

Founded by Caren Motika—an LA/Joshua Tree-based acupuncturist, artist, and friend of equally cool talent Sophie Buhai (she turned us on to the space)—WOTS curated natural products range from "hand-picked potions, herbal tinctures, teas, and essential oils" to "candles, minerals and jewelry." If you're looking for somewhere to disconnect from big-box retail and recharge your independent shopping spirit (or simply need some new Instagram-worthy visuals) this is the place.

Window of the Sky is open Thursday through Saturday from 12pm to 5pm. Acupuncture and healing treatments are by appointment only; call 323-507-2060 or email caren@wotsla.com.
