Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Last September, we revealed that the spiritual sweat sanctuary that is SoulCycle was set to ride into Downtown Los Angeles sometime this year. Although opening details were previously under wraps, we've just received some major updates, straight from the source.
SoulCycle tells us that the DTLA space, which will be located at 888 South Olive Street, is confirmed for a spring 2016 opening date. The studio will cover 4,000 square feet studio and will feature a retail boutique hosting SoulCycle's original performance and athleisure clothing collections. (That exclusive collab with Target is only available on Target.com/SoulCycle and at the pop-up shops in all 10 cities on the national tour.)
Classes at SoulCycle DTLA will cost $30 (as do all California classes), and rider amenities will include full men's and women's locker rooms, showers, and bathrooms.
Stay tuned for exact opening date!
