DOWNTOWN—Tucked in alongside Jeff Koons tableware and Damien Hirst prints at The Shop at The Broad (221 S Grand Avenue), you'll find pieces from LA-based and Emma Stone-approved jewelry line Sydney Evan. Make a foray into DTLA's hottest museum this Thursday, and then stop to shop and meet Sydney Evan designer Rosanne Karmes from 12-3pm. No need for contemporary art expertise required to enjoy Karmes' whimsical charm necklaces and luxe, California-chic beaded bracelets.

KOREATOWN—Jenny Lewis is bringing her dulcet voice and that iconic Adam Siegel airbrushed suit to K-town this week at the indie-appropriate venue, Cathedral Sanctuary at Immanuel Presbyterian (3300 Wilshire Boulevard). Avoid the typical Friday and Saturday night offerings and catch the 7pm show on Thursday night so you can jam out to the 10th anniversary of Rabbit Fur Coat in the cathedral's Gothic concert space. Reserve your spot and shop tickets here, with prices starting at $39.
