Everything Is Half-Off at the Joie, Equipment, & Current/Elliott Sample Sale Store

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

If you snoozed on last fall's Joie, Current/Elliott, and Equipment epic sample sale, don't forget that the deals happen on the reg at the cult-fave trio's company store in Vernon. This week, the brands are unleashing even more bargains during their friends and family blowout.

Now through Friday (9am to 6:30pm) and Saturday (9am to 3pm), score an additional 50% off already discounted prices. Expect Cali-cool wardrobe essentials, sleek silk shirting, cashmere basics, denim, footwear, and more from past seasons; take a peek at our last visit for a taste of the markdowns (tops for $30, dresses and silk button-downs for $55, and $5 clearance items, for starters).

Just like past sales, there are rules: no strollers, large bags (bring a small wallet), try-ons (wear leggings and a tank top if you're shy), and split payments are allowed; in addition, expect limited street parking as the building's lot is off-limits to shoppers.

If you swing by, feel free to share your experience in the comments here.

Update 1/21, 4:30pm: A reader who stopped by the sale tells us that there are no mirrors and shoppers "can't try anything on, not even over your clothes. Security will stop you." They add that most of the merch is "damaged" and "majorly old inventory," (bummer!) so keep all of that in mind before you make the trek to Vernon.
