Kitson Rolls Out Even Deeper Discounts and Closing Dates for SoCal Shops

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Our weekly sale roundups serve as sad reminders that the clock is ticking for Kitson, which announced last month that it was closing all of its stores. In a hot-of-the-press email blast, the legendary LA retailer has revealed additional markdowns and the final dates of its SoCal boutiques.

Merch at all stores are at least 60% off (including apparel, accessories, footwear, bags, stationery, books, and more), and price tags on denim are slashed down to 80% off. Kitson's outposts at Malibu Country Mart, Brea Mall, Santa Barbara's Paseo Nuevo shopping center, Camarillo Outlets, and San Diego's Fashion Valley and The Headquarters are all set to shutter by next Monday, January 18th.

As for the Melrose Avenue and Robertson Boulevard locations (where deals are still going strong), no word yet on when they're locking the doors for good. Stay tuned (sadly) for more.
