Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
BEVERLY GROVE—In addition to Eric Buterbaugh's celeb-faved floral arrangements and fine fragrances, his beautiful boutique (8271 Beverly Boulevard) also boasts an art gallery where the florist frequently features the work of his talented friends—and just so happens to host openings with A-list attendees. This Thursday guests can try for that coveted Madonna sighting (we can't make any promises, though) when Buterbaugh hosts a reception for photographer Bryan Fox's collection, "We. Alone. Part 2," from 6-9pm. This will be the second showing of the moody, evocative collection that debuted last year at DTLA's Think Tank. The gallery encourages guests to RSVP at ebflorals@hlgrp.com
GLENDALE—If you've got a get-fit game plan but not a lot of cash to make it happen, we suggest taking advantage of The Americana's (889 Americana Way) complimentary Yoga on the Green this Thursday. The Lululemon sponsored event takes place every Thursday from 11am-12pm, and Sundays from 9:30-10:30am. Don your cutest activewear (check out or faves by LA labels here) and bring a mat and your gung ho attitude to start your day with a mind-clearing, body-strengthening session.
