Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
We're not just reposting the phrase "New Year New You" as a meme on our Instagram account, we're putting the philosophy fully into practice (case in point: us sweating our butts off at this Thursday's Racked Fit Club). For this reason, we're more than a little psyched about a brand new offer from Silver Lake's dance/fitness studio The Sweat Spot.
In addition to owner Ryan Heffington's beloved Sweaty Sundays/Wet Wednesdays, the studio features an array of classes to tone your muscles, better your balance, and get a bit closer to the dancer's physique we all dream about. Rebecca Halls' Yoga For Dancers is one such example, and for the rest of the month, the hula-hooping pro (you must view her Instagram to see what we mean) and Gyrotonic teacher is giving clients both a challenge and a hard-to-resist deal.
From now through January 28th, Halls invites students to commit to three consecutive weeks of yoga (her Vinyasa classes take place Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30am), and for the $220 price tag, they'll also earn three private sessions utilizing Gyrotonic equipment, a pair of Teeki leggings, and a free juice from Juice Served Here (plus 25% off a cleanse from the local chain). Dare yourself to work toward your best bod ever and sign yourself up by heading here ASAP.
