In case you missed it, Rachel Zoe now has a late night talk show. Cleverly called Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe, the half-hour series premiered last night on Lifetime (right after Project Runway), and also stars fashion insider/supermodel bestie Derek Blasberg as Zoe's sidekick, as well as her husband Rodger Berman as a lovingly snarky voice from the sidelines. The show's first guest was actress/entrepreneur Jessica Alba, a personal friend of the superstar stylist/designer.
Right off the bat, Zoe makes it clear that this is a light-hearted program that lives for the laughs, complete with a live audience and silly segments like "I Can't Even" and "#WhatWereYouThinking?" It's quick, fun, easy to watch, and—most importantly—filled with all of Zoe's classic soundbites. (Think everything you miss about The Rachel Zoe Project, minus the drama.) Here (and every week), we're rounding up the show's top five quotes, starting with episode one.
RZ on FLOTUS Michelle Obama's fashion sense: "I feel like she's everything I want her to be all the time."
RZ on twinning with the Pope: "I feel like I would just wear a caftan and we'd be so similar."
RZ on the Emmys: "I would like people to take more risks. Just go there."
RZ on embarrassing words: "I say F-A-R-T because it's one of those top five words I can't say."
RZ on dressing sexy: "Pick your slutty area [...] I think sexiness is way better left to the imagination."
Catch Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe on Lifetime every Thursday at 10:30pm ET/PT.
