VENICE—Take one look at any fashion mag from the last few years and you'll have no doubt that a bold brow is an on-trend beauty must-have that's still going strong. Now one of the best brands in the biz has added sculpting services its array of beautification offerings. In addition to the wealth of quality cosmetics available for purchase (the mascara is to die for), Hourglass' Venice flagship store (1351 Abbot Kinney Boulevard) is launching its new brow grooming ($55) this Saturday. Let a pro pluck, wax, and otherwise tame your brows into submission—and a face-flattering shape—between the hours of 11am-6pm by reserving a spot via phone at 310-392-3409. Even if you're not quite ready to commit, pop into the store for the launch where you can get a free consultation and try out their new Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil, as well enjoy some celebratory refreshments. If you like what you see, schedule an appointment; the location will be offering the service every Saturday.
FAIRFAX—Premium denim brand Paige just added a brick-and-mortar to the already stellar shopping lineup at The Grove (189 The Grove Drive). This Friday from 6-8pm, the new location celebrates with an appearance by the company's founder Paige Adams-Geller as well as fashion/design blogger Aimee Song of Song of Style. Snack on cupcakes courtesy of Sprinkles and grab liquid refreshments from Pressed Juicery while you shop the new store's latest collection of denim—just in time for Fall.
VENICE—Cuyana makes luxe-looking/feeling goods (think soft leather totes and lightweight alpaca sweaters) with prices that won't break the bank, which is why it makes all the sense in the world that they've paired up with direct-to-customer jewelry brand (no middle men, no crazy markups) Vrai & Oro who shares the belief that high quality doesn't have to cost a lot. This Friday, Cuyana's Venice pop-up (1140 Abbot Kinney Boulevard) is hosting a happy hour from 5-8pm where guests are invited to sip vino, meet the Vrai & Oro's founder, and check out the shop's exclusive bundles that feature a combo of both brands. The offer will only be available through the weekend so make sure to RSVP via Cuyana's site here.
