Everything to Know About Sephora at The Grove, Opening October 2nd

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Given that Sephora's highly-anticipated location at The Grove is opening next week, the beauty retailer is finally ready to reveal more details on what to expect.

By the numbers, we hear that the 4,746-square-foot space will offer "a virtual paradise of endless beauty options with over 13,000 productions from more than 200 brands." (That's a lot of beauty.) Makeup lines will include Burberry Color, Givenchy, Josie Maran, Make Up For Ever, and Marc Jacobs Beauty; skincare and haircare brands will include Dr. Lancer, Drybar, Farmacy, Sunday Riley, and Tatcha; fragrance favorites wil include Elizabeth and James Nirvana, Stella McCartney, and Commodity.

In addition to Sephora's signature open-sell environment, this store will also feature three Sephora beauty studios, where shoppers can receive free mini makeovers (contouring, brow polishing, false lash application—you name it), as well as newly-launched mini facials (cleansing, moisturizing, and more). There will also be a range of "IQ Services" offers, allowing in-store experts to help you find your exact match for skincare, fragrance, and cosmetics.

Last but not least, those looking for a special occasion look can book a private 60-minute makeup session with an expert artist, right there in the store. (Minimum $50 purchase required.)

Sephora at The Grove will be open Monday through Friday from 10am to 9pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 10pm, and Sunday from 10am to 9pm.
