Miracle Mile's stylish health nuts will have to wait for their closest non-GMO foods fix. Originally slated to open this month, Lassens Natural Foods and Vitamins is set to unveil their La Brea Avenue store in "late fall," reports Larchmont Buzz.
As mentioned, the family-owned organic grocery chain—whose Los Feliz outpost counts Eva Mendes, Natalie Portman, and January Jones as frequent shoppers—is landing in a 12,000-square-foot space Wilshire La Brea. On top of a grab-and-go bar serving hot and and cold bites, the store will stock 100% organic produce and a range of low-processed goods.
The natural foods grocer hasn't released an exact grand opening date (we're thinking October or November), and they're currently seeking knowledgeable locals to join their health-obsessed team. Stop by the store (719 S. La Brea Avenue) during their job fair tomorrow from 10am to 4pm.
