All of a sudden, everyone wants to be Kylie Jenner. From her unapologetically plump lips to her '90s-inspired makeup to her ever-changing hairstyles to her grunge-goth street style, the 18-year-old reality star is quickly becoming the most popular of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, whether you like it or not). This is why designers are begging to dress her in exchange for a shout on her Instagram, where she has nearly 35 million followers.
At last weekend's MTV VMAs, Jenner wore a super-short Balmain dress from resort 2016, which was paired with tons of dainty gems by Shay Jewelry. She loved her jewelry so much that she even gave the LA-based brand a dedicated 'gram just the other day:
Although many may be hearing about Shay Jewelry for the first time, the brand has actually been around since 2002, led by mother-and-daughter duo, Tania and Ladan Shayan. A hometown hero through and through, Shay's website notes that "as Los Angeles natives, Tania and Ladan became inspired by the diverse culture and fashion trends found throughout the city and wanted to create a line of jewelry that would embrace the uniqueness of Southern California."
Celebrity-loved Shay offers two lines: Fine by Shay—a super-pricey ($500-$10000) range of 14k and 18k gold pieces, and Costume by Shay—a less pricey ($165-$400) set of 18k gold-plated pieces that also incorporate Swarovski crystals. Shop the fanciness here.
