E-tailers are all about getting into the hands of shoppers IRL these days. The latest online-only brand to nab a brick-and-mortar space is Culver City-based Sole Society, which opens its first pop-up boutique at Santa Monica Place today. Slated to hold court through next January, the brand tells us it hopes to go permanent.

Located in SwimSpot's former space on the second floor, the 2,250-square-foot shop stocks the local label's latest collection of footwear (including these sold-out glitter smoking slippers), jewelry, bags, and accessories. In addition to the brand's own affordable accoutrements, the store offers Sole Society's clothing collab with LA's Style Saint, socks by Richer Poorer, stationery by Russell + Hazel, and more in-store exclusives.

The boutique will combine online and offline retail therapy with digital kiosks that'll act as "a virtual concierge," allowing customers to shop in store and have their merch mailed directly to their homes within two days. Web customers can also make returns or exchanges at the shop.

To toast its first-ever store, the brand is giving away free tote bags and mystery gift cards valued at $10 to $200 to the first 100 shoppers. The celebration continues through the Labor Day weekend with music, gratis sweet treats and refreshments, and exclusive giveaways.

Sole Society at Santa Monica Place is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 9pm and Sunday from 11am to 8pm.
