It's been a long time coming for The Village at Westfield Topanga, The Valley's newest shopping/fitness/dining mecca. The 550,000-square-foot lifestyle center officially opens at 10am today, complete with Insta-ready corners, relaxing water features, a bocce ball court, an incredibly cool play area, and even a historic Red Car-inspired trolley ready to shuttle shoppers to and from Westfield Topanga and the Promenade. Then there's the retail therapy: in addition to anchor tenants like REI, Costco, and luxe spa and salon Burke Williams, the outdoor haven's 78-tenant directory includes online workout brand Fabletics's first LA store, interior design guru Jonathan Adler's biggest SoCal home decor emporium, fashion truck JD Luxe's first permanent shop, DIY floral bar Fleurish, and even a one-stop beauty row (Blushington! DryBar! Skin Laundry!).
Westfield tells us that its design team scoured the Rose Bowl for unique finds, like the Moroccan lanterns that illuminate its trees. They add that The Village was dreamed up as a neighborhood hangout, which explains the charming take-one-or-leave-one book exchanges, pup pit stop stations, the kids birthday party area, and a weekly farmers market every Sunday from 9am to 1pm starting September 20th.
