Judging by the amount of pumpkins and candy cropping up at your local grocery store, Halloween is apparently just around the corner. Although you still have more than a month to decide on a costume, why not get that task out of the way ahead of time?
Here's a good starting point: This weekend, Goodwill SoCal is hosting a Halloween pop-up "BOO-tique" for three days only at its Glassell Park Community Enrichment Center at Fletcher Square. We hear that the event will feature "thousands of deeply-discounted Halloween costumes, makeup, party inspiration, home decorations, and more."
Pop-up hours will be Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th from 9am to 8pm, and Sunday, September 20th from 10am to 8pm. Bonus for the kiddies: on Friday, September 18, from 2pm to 7pm, characters from Hotel Transylvania 2 will be visting the pop-up to meet Halloween shoppers and pose for photos. Cute.
