Vince clearly understands fall in LA, judging from the merch at its Santa Monica sample sale, which kicked off at 10am today. As promised, the Cali-cool label's four-day blowout is heavy on the "LA-appropriate attire," which includes their effortless basics and fall-ready jackets for women and men from spring/summer 2015 and previous seasons (but sadly, no footwear, bags, and accessories).
The women's area is on the left as you enter, and there's knitwear for $19 to $49, denim and blouses for $79, pants for $89, sweaters for $69 to $99, dresses and jumpsuits for $119, leather shorts and skirts for $129, and outerwear (including leather jackets) for $149 to $279. Over on the right in the men's department, expect to find tops and sweaters with the same pricing, button-downs for $59, denim for $69, pants for $79, and blazers for $149.
Good things to know before you go: outerwear and large bags are not allowed in the sale and there are communal fitting rooms. As far as the parking sitch, only street parking is available as there's no designated lot or valet; we spotted some risk-taking shoppers parking in Western Dental's adjacent lot.
