Shop Vintage, Party Like a Flapper at Disneyland's Dapper Day This Weekend

If your favorite pastimes include dressing for another decade and exploring the Happiest Place on Earth, clear this weekend's sched. Retro fashion party Dapper Day returns to Disneyland this Friday and Saturday with even more stylish happenings for its fall installment.

In addition to invading Disneyland and California Adventure on Friday (theme park tickets required), attendees can shop over 50 new and vintage apparel and accessories vendors during the two-day Dapper Day Expo from 12 to 8pm daily. Friday's festivities continue with live music, dancing, food, and drinks at the Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney, where the Folly official after-party takes place from 9:30pm to 2am.

On Saturday from 11am to 5pm, Dapper Day's first car show—and the resort's second-ever auto exhibit since 1959—will showcase classic hot rods, exotic wheels, custom rides, and more at the Disneyland Hotel's entrance. Also happening that day at noon, author and king of kitsch Charles Phoenix will take over AMC with a technicolor slide show of Disneyland's mid-century days.
