In just two more days, fashionable fitness fiends can finally shop Fabletics's affordable athleticwear offline. Co-founded by Kate Hudson,the online-only brand's first LA boutique officially arrives this Friday (not Thursday as originally reported) at the soon-to-open Village at Westfield Topanga as part of its brick-and-mortar expansion plan.
The workout gear label tells us that although the 1,700-square-foot space will mirror the look and feel of its other five shops, the Canoga Park location will be "[tailored] to reflect the community it's in." Decor highlights will include "elements of the outdoors by using earth tones, dark wood elements, a bamboo treatment to the dressing room doors, and a green accent wall." The shop will also feature a virtual LED skylight that'll mimic natural light. (Fancy.)
As far as merch, the boutique will offer Fabletics's full collection of core and seasonal styles, including its just-launched men's line, FL2. Just like the brand's online experience, shoppers can either check out as a non-member or score up to 40% off retail when they sign up for a VIP membership.
As mentioned, other in-store perks include in-store pickup for online purchases. In addition, store staff will be armed with mini iPads for on-the-spot checkout, online stock checks, and Instagram-inspired styling tips. Time-pressed shoppers can also schedule in-store styling appointments from Fabletics's site and shop their faves online later via the store's virtual shopping cart service.
