America's coolest shopping block continues its commercialization kick. LA-based Current/Elliott is opening its first standalone denim shop on Abbot Kinney, where it's landing between new arrival VNYL and soon-to-open Kit & Ace.

Founded in 2008 by celebrity stylists Emily Current and Merritt Elliott (both left the brand three years ago to start The Great), the cult-fave label earned Vogue- and It Girl-faved status for their signature boyfriend jeans. No word yet on the Venice boutique's grand opening date; stay tuned for more.
