Granolee Pop-Up at Alma; Amuse Society's California Cool Launch in WeHo; More!

We round up the week's coolest events so you don't have to.

Lee Tilghman

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

HISTORIC CORE—We salivate to Lee Tilghman's health foodie Instagram account on the regular. Her smoothie bowls and parfaits loaded with seasonal goodies and superfoods (often in addition to her own Granolee) are practically too pretty to eat and frequently have us wishing she was styling breakfasts in our kitchen. This Sunday morning Alma (952 S Broadway) offers the next best thing when Lee stops by for a pop-up of smoothie bowls, savory bowls, and healthful treats from 10am-12pm. You can make reservations through Open Table here, but the restaurant is also welcoming walk-ins.

ELYSIAN PARK—All summer long, Topshop/Topman has been bringing the coolest emerging musical acts to cities throughout the U.S. and they'll be bringing the party back to Los Angeles this weekend. Endless Summer hits Montecillo De Leo Politi Park (Stadium Way between Scott and Academy Road) this Saturday bringing along experimental, NYC-based artist Empress Of. Hosted by Marycake and Peter Adrian, the event takes place from 3-7pm and will also be offering food trucks, games, and giveaways. Grab your free wristband at the brand's The Grove location to attend.

WEST HOLLYWOOD—Beachy brand Amuse Society seems to be celebrating summer all year long with their breezy, modern-boho styles, but this Saturday they're pairing up with Ron Herman (8100 Melrose Avenue) for an official bash. In honor of their new "California Cool" tee collection—exclusively at the luxe retailer—the 3-6pm fiesta includes a Priv sponsored braid bar, tropical food and drinks, live "mannequins" modeling the new gear, a photobooth, and a live DJ spinning festive tunes. Hosted by blogger/cool girl Jill Wallace of Little Black Boots, the event also offers guests the opportunity to win some stellar prizes, like a one-of-a-kind surfboard and skincare by Epicuren. Summer won't last forever (even in Southern California) so be sure to RSVP here to get in on the best bits of the season at this cool soiree.

BEVERLY GROVE—We don't know about you, but we're always combing West Elm's site for serious home decor inspo. This Sunday from 10:30am-12:30pm, the Beverly Grove location (8366 Beverly Boulevard) has even more #designporn to offer than its modern furniture and accessories when it welcomes Britt Castellano of A Handcrafted Home for a DIY Wood Mobile Workshop. The $25 tickets (purchased here) gets you all the necessary materials you need you craft your own mini mod masterpiece plus some snacks for sustenance.
