Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

HOLLYWOOD—We can't be the only ones who get nostalgic, throwback feels looking at LA brand Clashist's best-selling Sand Art prints (we're documented fans), and how could you expect any less from the company who also makes sweatshirts decorated with Elaine Benes' patented dance moves or tees covered in Samantha Jones' best power suits? In fact, the gang teamed up with Space 15 Twenty (1520 N Cahuenga Boulevard) and Kelly Mindell of Studio DIY to put together an interactive event that celebrates our inner 90's child. Inspired by the aforementioned print, the space will host a Sand Art Workshop, led by the DIY guru diva. The $10 class (register here, quickly!) takes place this Saturday from 12-3pm and includes all materials you'll need plus—wait for it—mimosas. We're so there.

MALIBU—We have designer Francesca Aiello to thank for the sexy, boho swimwear styles from her namesake line Frankie's Bikinis, and now you'll be able to do just that with a trunk show and meet-and-greet at Planet Blue in the Malibu Country Mart (3835 Cross Creek Road). This Saturday from 1-6pm, hang with Aiello, snag sweets and spirits and catch tunes courtesy of a live DJ. And the best part? Receive 20% when you shop suits by the brand.

CULVER CITY—Recently we tipped you off to the upcoming arrival of home decor boutique Studio by Dark (8545 Washington Boulevard), which specializes in offering a holistic approach to interior design. This Saturday the doors will finally swing open, offering shoppers the ultimate in modern mystic wares and a little celebratory action as well. Stop by at 4pm to explore the new space, meet the crew, enjoy food, drinks, and music, and even enter a gift raffle. You can RSVP by calling 480-370-5623.

BEVERLY GROVE—One of this year's picks from our list of the 38 Coolest Indie Boutiques, Assembly (7977 Melrose Avenue) keeps its beautifully minimal shop stocked with its own sleek line as well as goods from an impressive list of other designers. This Thursday evening the store welcomes new inventory for both with a luxe trunk show. From 5-10pm, guests will be able to preview and purchase clothing from CF. Goldman, Eckhaus Latta and the house brand, as well as jewelry by Legier and Livaudais. The event also offers shoppers drinks and music from Terrible Records. Prospective guests may RSVP to assembly@rb-br.com.
