There's only one Starbucks within the boundaries of Silver Lake—a testament to the nabe's particular tastes when it comes to coffee. This month, fashion-faved Alfred Coffee is bringing its hipster-approved Stumptown sips and more to the 'hood, and it's setting up shop just steps away from Clare Vivier.
Opening Monday, August 24th, the 800-square-foot coffee shop will focus on its java menu—cold brews, espresso, #10dollarlattes, and more—before potentially expanding to grab-and-go grub. In addition to debuting with limited-edition coffee cup sleeves designed by its bag maven neighbor, the space will mirror the vibe of Alfred's star-frequented Melrose Place outpost, but "a little darker and edgier."
As far as those locations Studio City and on West Third Street, the local java chain tells us they're slated to open in December.
