American Apparel has big plans for its post-Dov comeback: hiring a Jenner, launching a "cohesive" clothing collection, etc.—not exactly penny-pinching moves, which explains why the LA-based basics giant has decided to move out of one of its DTLA buildings by 2016.
Per WWD, the brand hopes to save money on rent (about $2.1 million a year) by vacating one of its two 400,000-square-foot buildings and consolidating its HQ and manufacturing under one roof. The change is expected to take place by March 31st of next year; let's hope the new tenants won't be creeped out by AA's former CEO-turned-stalker.
