After successful openings in Paris, Istanbul, and more, last month stylish hotel company Mama Shelter opened its first stateside property, right here in LA. Located at 6500 Selma Avenue in the heart of Hollywood, the six-story boutique hotel was designed by the talented Thierry Gaugain, and features 70 art-inspired rooms starting at just $149 with suites at $399 a night.

Set to become the fashion world's favorite in-city getaway, Mama Shelter LA features some pretty sweet perks, including 27-inch iMacs for "television, free XXX video on demand, movie channels, video/photo booth, radio, airplay, free Wi-Fi and Internet," as the hotel notes, as well as a "Mama Skin range of bio-care products in partnership with Absolution, a business center, and 24/7 valet."

For the stylish foodies, there's also a restaurant conceptualized by chef Benjamin Bailly, a bar, a Venice-Beach-style rooftop, a fitness center, a theatre, and art throughout the entire hotel. Summer staycation, anyone? Book a stay here.
