Is LA's First Rick Owens Store Finally Opening Next Month?

Our hopes were quite high that Rick Owens was set to grace LA this month, but a recent drive-by reveals that the news was too good to be true. We noticed that the construction barriers in the front have finally been removed, and a trusted tipster tells us that the Cali-bred designer's first City of Angels boutique may open in the next two weeks.

A quick peek through massive store's monolithic gray entrance (located away from the street on the side of the building) reveals that staff have begun setting up merch, making us optimistic that it's all finally happening. The shop is located at 819 N. La Brea Ave. next to Jet Rag and it looks like there'll be plenty of street parking. Stay tuned for more!
