MALIBU—Model/actress Joy Bryant's globe-trotting ways have translated into her inspired clothing line, Basic Terrain, which was co-created by her husband and travel partner, David Pope. Now the worldly beauty can add the Malibu Country Mart location of luxury boutique Curve (3835 Cross Creek Road) as a stockist of her brand and the shop is celebrating this Tuesday evening with a fashionable event. From 5-8pm, Bryant will be on-hand to launch her line and offer styling tips while a pop-up Urban Decay beauty bar provides guests with mini-makeovers. Shoppers will also receive a customized gift (while supplies last).

SANTA MONICA—Eco-friendly boutique hotel The Ambrose (1255 20th Street) is ready to amp up the style factor on your regular yoga session this Tuesday. For the first in their Summer In the Garden series, the venue brings in top trainer Rochelle Robinson to lead an intimate class while popular activewear brand Lorna Jane offers a mini trunk show featuring the latest style. The 6-8pm event will also include drinks courtesy of Lucky Buddha Beer and Ziobaffa wine.
