New Label Privacy Please Makes Classic Style Affordable

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

As proven by cult-favorite labels like Reformation, Flynn Skye, and Stone Cold Fox, today's most inspiring dressers are veering toward a look that's less trendy (à la Nasty-Gal) and more timeless. If retro-driven pieces with modern silhouettes are the goal, Privacy Please nails it.

Created by LA-based Alliance Apparel, the unstoppable fashion powerhouse behind Lovers + Friends, Tularosa, NBD, and Raye, Privacy Please is a 17-piece collection of feminine dresses, two-piece sets, and jumpsuits ranging from $70 to $220. "As we expand our portfolio of brands, we want to create collections that fill a gap in the modern woman's wardrobe," explains chief creative officer Raissa Gerona. "With Privacy Please, we saw an opportunity to make beautiful vintage-inspired pieces in modern cuts, using high-quality fabrics at accessible prices."
