Back in 2013, we introduced you to LA model Christy Dawn Peterson, the blue-green-eyed beauty behind vintage-inspired label Christy Dawn. Given that her line of whimsical, locally-produced dresses made of deadstock fabrics were instantly snatched up by cool girls everywhere, it's no surprise that new mama Dawn has finally opened her first freestanding store.
Located at 1930 Lincoln Boulevard in Venice, the shop features a range of Christy Dawn's bestsellers, in addition to a collection of finely-curated vintage pieces, including denim, tees, bags, shoes, and sweatshirts. Although dresses certainly get snatched up fast, savvy shoppers should visit frequently to score fresh picks. "Because of the heavy demand for our dresses, there is a fast turnover on them," she says. "But we add about 100 new dresses each week!"
Christy Dawn is open Monday through Friday from 11am to 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
